ABOUT TOM

Tom Morin, MFT (Marriage Family Therapist), is a psychotherapist in private practice in Oakland and Marin County, California. He teaches Intro to Psychology and Abnormal Psychology at Chabot College in Hayward, California. He also teaches a Counseling Skills class in the Sport Psychology Program at John F. Kennedy's Graduate School of Psychology in Pleasant Hill, California. Tom is on the staff at MPI (www.mpi-treatment.org), a chemical dependency treatment program in Oakland, California. A former swim coach, Tom was Matt Biondi's personal coach for the 1992 Olympic Games.

Tom has been featured on syndicated radio shows around the country and in newspapers and magazines such as Parent & Child, The Chicago Tribune, The Contra Costa (California) Times, and others.
